CS. Balakrishnan Bilu is a Bachelor of Commerce (Rank Holder), a Post Graduate in Financial Management (MFM) and also a Post Graduate in Human Resources Management (MHRM). He is an Associate Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

CS. Bilu is an Associate Member of Securities & Investment Institute (SII), London, an Associate Member of  Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, U.K. CS. Bilu is also an Associate Member of Institute of Legal Secretaries & PAs, England, U.K. 

He started his career as a Faculty in Corporate Laws in the year 1998. The novel concepts in corporate laws education initiated by him includes Guidance Notes for Students (CGNS), SMS Alert Service, Online Education and a students friendly corporate laws newsletter.

B. Bilu is known for his ability to transform students into a corporate professional. He is rated with 100% success in corporate laws coaching for CS, CA and CWA courses. Bilu is a down-to-earth teacher and a friend to students, and cares his students to develop themselves. His students include All India Rank Holders for Company Secretaryship Course and other top scorers. He has authored a book titled ‘Students’ Guide to Company Secretarial Practices’, and compiled a book titled ‘E-Governance Under MCA 21’. He has written more than 150 articles and write-ups of corporate nature.

Having around 10 Years experience in teaching corporate laws, his favourite subjects of interest include Mergers & Amalgamations, Company Secretarial Practices and Legal Documentation. He is presently concentrating on the Art of Brand Building & Brand Management. Bilu through CIER promotes and maintains the reputed online corporate laws education portals CompanyLaw4Students.Com, ifrs4students.com and CompanyLaw4Students.Com. He is the first person to introduce VIRTUAL CLASSES in South India, in Corporate Laws Coaching. He is a faculty for Training Orientation Program (TOP) and Crash Course for CS Executive Program conducted by ICSI Cochin Chapter.

He is the Founder of Corporate Intelligence Education & Research (CIER). He also provides business strategy advisory services. Bilu has varied work experience in Chartered Accountants' firm, consultancy firms, private limited, public limited companies and PSUs. Presently CS. B. Bilu is working as Company Secretary of a reputed Company in Trivandrum.

Personal Profile:

B. Bilu was born in center Travancore, Kuzithurai, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu  & presently settled in Trivandrum. His father & mother were well known teachers in English & Chemistry respectively. His elder brother is a HR professional & younger brother is a Software professional. 

Bilu in his career, is well supported by his wife Rajani (Mini), a post graduate in commerce & company secretaryship student. She is a talented fashion jewels designer. She also looks after the content management of CIER & BB`LAW`CLASS. Bilu is blessed with a boy child Ananthu.

Other Interests:

Bilu has a good flair over creative designing through softwares. He is versed with Adobe photo-shop, MS powerpoint, dreamweaver, flash etc. He has designed several websites, theme brochures etc. He loves playing computer games & he is also font of carnatic music.
